Play in the Park

Be A Kid Again

Play in the Park is a one hour weekend park games session for adults. It's free and open to anyone to attend. We meet up and we play group games and exercises, some drawn from clown and physical theatre and some from our memories of the school playground, like Bippity Bippity Bop, Freeze Tag, Duck Duck Goose, Crocodile Can I Cross the River?, What's the Time Mr Wolf? etc. One hour and we'll play as many as we can!

We'll also do a warm up so we can prepare our creaky adult bodies for games we may not have played in decades. All you need to take part is a willingness to play and be silly, open to all levels of experience and abilities, it's not a full on work out (except for your sense of play). You can read about us in the Brunswick Voice

This location is weather dependent so if it's really pouring, we will raincheck til the next week. If you're unsure if it's going ahead and want to double check, email me here.

BYO friends, comfy clothes you can move in, water bottle and your fave kids' game you wanna revive.

Elizabeth Davie interviewed by Brunswick Voice

“It’s just so life-giving to have that regular joy and silliness and play and to be doing something that has no specific reason, that’s just literally for fun.”

“We don't stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing.”
